About Rajeshwari
Kathak danseuse Rajeshwari Sharma received her taleem under the aegis of Kathak exponent Guru Pt. Rajendra Gangani of Jaipur gharana. She received her post graduation degree in 2002 from Kathak Kendra, which is the only recognized Kathak training centre in India by Ministry of Art and Culture, New Delhi. She was awarded with title ‘Shringar Mani’ by esteemed Sur Shringar Sansad in Mumbai.
About Pandit Rajendra Gangani
Pandit Rajendra Gangani is one of the most brilliant exponents of Indian classical dance today. In 2003 , he received one of the most prestigious awards in the field of performing arts in India, the “Sangeet Natak Academy Award”. He is presently associated with Kathak Kendra, New Delhi, one of the premier dance institutes in India.

Our Guruji's Comment
For many years ,Rajeshwari has associated herself with the Dance form of kathak with determination and hard work.
I count Rajeshwari among few of my disciples, who has dedicated herself to take forward ‘Jaipur Gharana’ along with its traditional value and purity.
Every year Rajeshwari’s group ‘Sancharee’ organizes cultural evening of kathak dance called ‘Guru bin aisi kaun kare’,in memory of my father and guru pandit KundanLal Gangani.
It reflects an examplery work of Rajeshwari dedication towards Jaipur Gharana and its guru. seeing Rajeshwari’s hard work and talent, every guru will aspire to have a disciple like her.it pray to god for Rajeshwari’s success and bright future and will always be there to help Rajeshwari take forword this big initiative of Sancharee.

On one hand Rajeshwari Sharma has presented the traditional and classical form of Kathak in front of her audience by keeping its sanctity alive, at the same time she has experimented kathak with contemporary forms of music without compromising on the pure form of Jaipur gharana. For Rajeshwari Kathak is meditation and spirituality as she finds her connects with almighty through her dancing. Her life revolves around Kathak.
